VILLA VIOLETTA

Florence Villa Violetta is a cozy farmhouse, newly renovated with love and dedication and located only 20 minutes' drive away from the center of Florence. The property, which also includes a barn and is furnished with super modern equipment, is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards on rolling hills. It is situated in a protected landscape area dotted with small Romanesque churches, monasteries, and medieval villages.

From the property you can enjoy spectacular views and sunsets! It is literally Tuscany you have seen in movies.

The farmhouse inhabited by sharecropper farmers until the 1950s, is built with Alberese, Tuscan stone that has a light, warm color. Many years ago the red brick barn was used for drying olives and grains.

Fantastic time at Violetta's super-modern studio, nestled in the heart of Tuscany with a view of the Brunelleschi dome from the garden. Violetta is a wonderful and warm host, responds quickly to messages and makes one's stay enjoyable in every way. I will definitely return to her place again. Highly recommended!

Il fienile è stato ristrutturato di recente e con molto gusto da Violetta, e si vede. Tutto è nuovo, fresco, impeccabile. Probabilmente la casa più pulita che io abbia mai affittato su airbnb, ed anche le forniture, piatti, bicchieri, pentole, c'è assolutamente tutto per sbizzarrirsi ai fornelli e tutto é nuovo e pulito. Una connessione internet stabile anche quando c'è un pò di vento, violetta è discreta ma sempre disponibile. Un punto ulteriore a suo favore: a 900 metri c'è una nuova caffetteria/salumeria per fare facilmente un pò di spesa o una colazione, un pò hipster nella decorazione ma freguentata al 90% da gente del posto e con prodotti proprio buoni. La passeggiata per andarci a piedi la mattina presto è un incanto :-) Ottimo tutto insomma, ciao Violetta.

ORGANIC FARMING

This is a family-run farm with outside help which has a beautiful olive grove, and a view of Florence in the distance.

The olives are harvested manually between the end of October and November. It is possible to taste and also purchase the extra virgin olive oil produced by the property.

The vegetable garden is small but well-stocked. During their stay guests will be able to taste the seasonal fruits and vegetables as well as the locally made jams.

All that is available at the farm is genuine and “at zero km” as we say in Italy - that is more than organic!
